Building collective power for workers in BC
Worker Solidarity Network advocates to improve labour standards for non-union and precarious workers across BC. They emerged from the Retail Action Network and inherited a website set up on WordPress using a page-maker plugin.
The site is translated into multiple languages, has many resources and campaigns, and needs a better user flow for intake forms and booking appointments.
Collaborating under iilo Creative Alliance, we dug deep into their user flow and site map to create an easier-to-navigate resource. With a limited budget, we couldn’t develop a full new website, so we offered to redesign key elements for better accessibility; designed new landing page and homepage templates; and audited their plugins to help with page load issues.

“I was so pleased to find a creative team like KunStudios and iilo that brought razor-sharp expertise alongside progressive values to help refresh our website. Our website was running on an outdated engine that glitched often and was in need of an aesthetic refresh, and Krisztina and the iilo team effectively helped repair our website from inside and out.
Project needs, goals, and recommendations were clearly communicated and I was able to learn a lot of new best practices to implement on my own for our website. I highly recommend!”
